The Halsema Highway is a major road in the Philippines, especially in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). It extends from Baguio City to Bontoc in Mountain Province, passing through various municipalities and providing breathtaking views of the Cordillera mountain range. The roadway, named for American engineer Eusebius J. Halsema, is the Philippines' highest altitude highway, reaching elevations of more than 7,000 feet above sea level.

The Halsema Highway is an important transportation route in the Cordillera region, linking isolated communities and allowing the movement of products, people, and services. However, due to the rugged terrain and frequently challenging weather conditions, traveling along the Halsema Highway may be an experience in and of itself. Landslides, fog, and high cliffs are some of the dangers that travelers may face, especially during the rainy season.

Northern Blossom is a famous tourist site in Atok, Benguet, Philippines. It is a flower farm recognized for its beautiful landscape and vibrant flowers, especially during the blooming season. Visitors can take a walk through the floral fields, snap photographs, and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Northern Blossom has become a must-see destination in Benguet, attracting both local and foreign visitors seeking to enjoy nature's beauty.

Haight's Place

Haight's Place is another farm you could visit because Northern Blossom Farm can get crowded at times. This location also features a restaurant and a bed and breakfast. Aside from flowers, the area also has vegetables, however the availability varies by season.

Plants & Flower Shops



Planting flowers, plants, and vegetables is a major source of revenue for the locals. There are cheap plants around.  I purchased these succulents because I love them and they are low-maintenance. So, if you have enough room in your car, make sure to buy some plants or vegetables to bring home and support farmers in Benguet.
