Central Library - Calgary, Alberta, Canada

It stands as a major architectural landmark in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Central Library opened to the public on November 1, 2018. The public library is extremely accessible. Public bike racks are available on all sides of the building, and bus routes stop at 3 Street SE and 9 Avenue SE. City Hall is the closest CTrain stop on the Red and Blue lines. Parking is available in the City Hall parkade, paid parking spaces on the east side of the Library, and paid street parking in the East Village. The building's design is stunning, with a modern and original architectural style. It includes features of openness, sustainability, and community engagement. Johnston Canyon is a scenic natural site in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is known for its breathtaking waterfalls, clear blue waters, and scenic hiking trails. Johnston Canyon is located on the Bow Valley Parkway, approximately 25 kilometers west of Banff, Alberta, Canada. For a fast guide, please watch this mini-vlog that I prepared: In the winter, Johnston Canyon becomes a winter wonderland, complete with frozen waterfalls and ice formations. Visitors can take ice walking excursions or even ice climb with the correct equipment and coaching. It's pretty cold there during winter, so make sure to wear jackets and jeans that are comfortable and suitable for hiking. I wore a parka, snow boots, and ski trousers. Ice cleats are also extremely helpful, especially in areas that are slippery.    Ice cleats can be purchased online or rented locally in Banff.
